Special Assistance Network attends seminar on "Wills, Trusts, and Medicaid Planning"

The Special Assistance Network was pleased to attend a seminar on “Wills, Trusts, and Medicaid Planning” regarding estate planning sponsored by myLaw CLE-Future Counsel LLC. The course discussed the concepts of an estate plan and how Medicaid/Medicare Planning is important in family wealth and keeping and protecting such wealth in the family. There was discussion on the various types of Wills and Trusts that can be beneficial for individuals in a family that may need protection from outsiders and adverse family members. The continuing changing rules of Medicaid and Medicare were also discussed. This information was helpful in advising our clients with Special Needs and the individual dynamics that occur in many families that the Special Assistance Network advises.
